The interior of the 2025 Acura MDX has been updated and upgraded in a few ways, particularly the introduction of a new infotainment system that has the potential to revolutionize not only the flagship SUV of the Acura brand but also the entire brand.

12.3-inch touchscreen interface featuring Google built-in

-
Redesigned 20-inch wheels (Technology Package and above)
-
Bang & Olufsen luxury audio system (Technology Package and above)

A touchscreen and better interface on the MDX in 2025
At first glance, the addition of a 12.3-inch touchscreen to a brand-new luxury vehicle might not seem like a big deal. This is true even if the vehicle is equipped with over-the-air updates and Google technology that is built in. The touchpad interface is more intuitive and easier to use. Plus, Google is integrated into it, so drivers can use Google maps and apps if preferred. Apple CarPlay is still available for use should you want to use that.
Now there’s more real estate on the center console with the removal of the touch pad. Another feature that has been removed from the Touchpad is the wrist rest that was previously located above the wireless phone charger. This change makes it much simpler to position and remove your phone from the Touchpad.
Welcome, Bang & Olufsen premium sound
The addition of Bang & Olufsen sound systems, rather than the Panasonic/ELS upgrades that have been a standard feature of Acura vehicles for the past twenty years, is yet another significant change that will take place in 2025.
Even better is the user-friendly BeosonicTM one-touch sound control interface from Bang & Olufsen which makes it possible to create a personalized in-car audio experience by selecting from four distinct audio moods: Bright, Energetic, Warm, and Relaxed. The Acoustic Lens Technology developed by Bang & Olufsen is capable of uniformly dispersing high frequencies horizontally 180 degrees while simultaneously limiting vertical reflections. Passengers are able to hear every note and every nuanced sound.
A total of 31 speakers, including 12 speakers that are mounted solely in the ceiling, 24 channels of power, two amplifiers, and an 8.8-inch subwoofer are standard on the Type S with Advance Package, which is the most expensive model in the range.
The MDX is quieter
The 2025 Acura MDX with Technology Package, Advance Package and MDX A-Spec have additional insulators and both front and rear fenders have liners to reduce road noise. This is expected to be reduced by ten percent. To further reduce wind noise, the rear doors now feature laminated glass.
This flagship SUV has always been a top choice for luxury drivers for its dependability and safety, yet refinement. It offers the perfect mix of functionality and luxury for many drivers in the Opelika and Phenix City areas.
