How It Works
Here's how BDS financing works for Acura service with our Columbus, GA service department
It all starts with an online application. By clicking “Apply Here,” you'll be directed to the pre-app portion of the application. As soon as the pre-app is completed, you will then complete a short application and instantly receive either an approval amount or a denial. You'll be able to use the approved amount for repairs or to buy accessories at our dealership. BDS will contact our service advisor to confirm your financing approval and have that advisor send a copy of your estimate to BDS.
Once BDS has received the service estimate from our service advisor, they will e-mail a disclosure and invoice to you which includes an itemized quote and the amount of monthly payments, due dates and the BDS fee. Once you approve that agreement, you'll get an e-mail with instructions on how to electronically sign it. BDS will then notify our service advisor that you have signed the contract and will authorize payment. When the work is completed and your Acura is ready to be picked up, BDS will pay our dealership the authorized amount.

What are the requirements to apply for BDS financing?
In order to apply, you must be 18 years of age or older, have a regular income of $1,000 or more per month, have an active checking account and a valid e-mail address and phone number. Please note that these are threshold requirements and don't guarantee approval.
How will you use my personal information?
BDS will contact you through phone, e-mail and text messaging to provide instruction and direction on how to finalize your contract documents.
Will BDS share my personal information?
No, BDS will never share your personal information with any third party affiliates and they won't sell your personal information to anyone.
Can I opt out of receiving phone calls, emails and text messages?
Yes, all you have to do is reply “Stop” and BDS will cancel your communication program and remove you from all future correspondence.
Does applying for BDS financing affect my credit score?
No, applying or using the approved amount will not affect your credit score.
Is there an early buyout option?
Yes, you can pay the total amount due on your financing package plus tax before 90 days and save. After 90 days of a 12-month contract you can save 30% on the balance of the contract. After 90 days of a 24-month contract you can save 50% on the balance of the contract.
Can I use the BDS program along with another financing resource to pay for my purchase or repairs?
No, you can't use two finance contracts for one purchase or repair.
